School tours for prospective families take place every other Thursday (2nd and 4th Thursday of every month, except for school holidays). Our tours take place at 9.30am. On your tour you will be accompanied by our Headteacher Anthony Carmel or a member of the Senior Leadership Team. You will be taken around the whole school building and will have the opportunity to see children learning in the classrooms. To book a place on a school tour, either email the school on email@example.com or ring the school office on 020 7274 7145.
At Ashmount Nursery we offer every child a first class nursery education, in a safe and happy environment.
Children between 3 and 4 years of age are eligible to join our nursery. Our two main admission points are in September and January.
- If their 3rd birthday is before the 1st of September, they would start in the Autumn Term
- If their 3rd birthday is before the 1st of January, they would start in the Spring Term
All 3 and 4 year old children are eligible for a 15 hour place (Mon-Fri, 9am-12pm or 12.30-3.30pm).
Some three and four year old children are eligible for a free 30 hour place (Mon-Fri, 9am-3.30pm). To qualify for a free 30 hour place, there are criteria that must be met. To find out more please click on the link below.
At Ashmount we also offer families the opportunity to supplement their free 15 hour place by buying additional sessions. Parents pay for these additional sessions on a means tested scale. Please contact the school office to find out more and to request an application pack.
To apply for a reception place, you will need to apply online through the Local Authority (Islington).
More information about applying for places can be found on the London Borough of Islington website here:
